When I’m traveling I love getting inspired by the aromas, the textures, the colors of a new city. Barcelona is full of them! As I wandered the streets I found a few things that captured some of that, short of bottling up the sand and the salt air.
Hand-made and Hand-painted Spanish Terracotta Petit Bowl
There is colorful painted ceramics in almost every part of Barcelona. As part of the decor, on buildings, and when you are at a Tapas bar enjoying small plates and a glass of Sangria. When I saw this mini Tapas bowl my mind went crazy with all the different ways you could use it. It's the perfect size to hold sea salt, spices, a little olive oil, a small taste of green olives on the side. And of course, I love that they are so cute and perfect for holding your rings and jewelry on the dresser. But of course for me, I was super excited about the idea mixing a small amount of a DIY skin and beauty treatment and better yet, using the bowl to mix a few drops of your FACE Flash Oil with a few drops of your foundation for the perfect glowing flawless face. I fell in love with all the citrus in Barcelona and all the yummy fresh olives you can find in the market. I remember having these delicious lemon stuffed olives that were so good I had to pick some up to bring home. I wanted to bring you a taste of this. The tart lemon adds the brightness to the taste and how pretty these look when you serve them in a bowl. The Spanish have figured out you can stuff olives with just about anything. These are some of the best Manzanilla Olives from the South of Spain, stuffed with a delicious lemon paste. And don't forget… olives make a great DIY for your skin!

As you make your way through Barcelona’s shopping streets in El Born and the Gothic Quarter, you can’t miss all the colorful scarves people are wearing and that are being sold in the cute boutique shops. Tassled, patterned, striped -- all are expressions of the fashion and flair that is Barcelona and the perfect companion to all your rooftop cocktails runs. It was so hard to decide which ones to buy, so I got two.
